AllGood brews not only delightful coffee surrounded by a warm and inviting ambiance but exceeds even their own high standard because of continued support of community and families.

During the month of September, AllGoods owner, Eric, the gold standard of baristas, readily agreed to accept donations for Elevate Childhood Cancer Research and Advocacy, Inc. Alongside, Vickie, the familiar and cherished soul that greets those that stroll in for their daily fix, they began advocating for those diagnosed with a childhood cancer. Vickie has a personal connection to this cause, a friend whose child was diagnosed with a brain tumor years ago, as she shared with a board member of Elevate. They have survived, unlike so many, and yet not without late effects and worry that each scan will be the last with ‘stable’ news.

AllGood not only accepted donations, with 100% going to the cause, but allowed their cozy main street coffee shop to be decorated with gold ribbons, the symbol of all childhood cancers combined, during the month with messages of support written on them. This provided a visual support that even touched the life of a childhood cancer survivor who unknowingly stopped in for a latte during this campaign.

We are grateful here at Elevate for delicious coffee, wouldn’t get through half of what we have without it! But we are especially thankful for people like Eric and Vickie that open up their hearts to issues that need this type of solid support bridging the gaps between advocacyresearch, community and coffee
