Elevate Childhood Cancer Research and Advocacy

Elevate kids

Beyond our personal experiences with childhood cancer, members of our board have been moved by the many families who we’ve come to know and love. Their families and their beautiful children are part of our collective ‘why‘.

 Elevate knows we should

let kids be kids’;   which means that they shouldn’t have to worry about the hassles of adult life and “beating their own cancer.” Instead, Elevate believes that kids should be able to enjoy their childhood and all the innocence that comes with that.

Elevate Rhabdo and Elevate Wilms workgroups are the core of Elevate...

-Chris Osborne, Elevate Board Chair

“Being a part of Elevate has been an encouragement! Not just talking about it, but doing! Walking alongside my son through his 3rd cancer diagnosis is very hard! Being a part of the [Elevate] Rhabdo workgroup and attending the meetings brings encouragement that there is a small, but mighty group waiting to do something and make a difference. Collaborating with other advocacy groups in the process brings hope that by working together changes will happen sooner than later!

-Jessica Jackson, Keaton’s mom & Elevate Rhabdo member

“I’m very excited to join Elevate in the crucial mission of finding new ways to propel research forward for our children with cancer because our family has learned the hard way that there are gaps and bottlenecks in childhood cancer research, and that they create a deadly environment for some of our kids who need new, more effective options. These gaps and bottlenecks in the process exist from lack of awareness, lack of funding, and sometimes even simply from lack of collaboration. Elevate seeks to change that."
